Cut Jo Wood
This is very annoying because you don't exactly get a thrill when you don't see
immediate results. Just measure twice and cut once and you'll be fine.

Assemble Screen Clamp Base & Sport Rack
These need to be done first because it is very awkward to start nailing when you have hinges on the press already.
You may damage the press if you don't do this stuff first.
First, check out the layout of the finished press:

*the back part with the squeegee (yellow thing) in it is the rack being used. The screen clamp base is on the top left
(person using it's view) and the table is of course the large thing in the center
1. Go ahead and pick a side of the plywood to be the 'top' and then place the short sport rack piece on a flat surface.
2. Nail the small piece by going through the plywood first and onto the wood piece. You want to position it on the
extra space on the right side of your base plywood
3. Do the same for the large sport rack piece and then nail the clamp base piece into place. This should
go on the top left of the press and be square with the border of the plywood.
Mark hinges Space and Drill
Place the hinges on the right and left side of the screen clamp base and mark the sides and holes. You want
each to be about 2.5"-3" away from the borders of the wood.

1. Drill 2 holes for each hinge. We used the outside ones, you could use all 4 but that just means more materials.
2. Place the hinges on and put a washer through each screw and then drive each screw into the holes you just made.
3. Line up the screen clamp with the hinges you just installed. Mark the where the inside holes line up if you position the
wood square with the hinges.
4. Drill holes big enough for your large bolts. You want them to be able to move freely in and out but still snug.
5. Put the bolts through the inner holes on the movable part of the hinge.
6. Put the washers through the screws
7. Bolt the washers tight by hand screwing and then using a socket wrench
8. Put the screen clamp on the two large screws
9. Put two washers on the two large screws
10. Place the wing nuts on the two large screws
Build the Table
The table is where your shirt goes when you print it. This table is made
simply by stacking "scrap" pieces of wood. Once you have all your pieces of
wood, arrange them like so:
1. Sand down the top table piece for a smooth surface.
2. Use the box nails and nail each in flush but start from the large, center block and work outward.
Place the guides
The guides make it so your table can align center and slide back and forth.
1. Place a paint stirrer parallel to the screen 2" away.
2. Use the 5/8" finish nails (small ones) liberally and nail it into place
3. Place the table onto the base and make it square with the guide you just nailed.
4. Mark lines to place the other two guides perpendicular to the first
5. Place the guides and nail them in.
Thus, this can happen:
